Meet Tony Soprano, a forty something American-Italian with a dutiful wife, a daughter thats not so dutiful, a son named after himself, an ill tempered mother he is trying to move into a retirement village, a senile hot headed uncle, a secret mistress thats not too secret and a shrink to tell all about his anxiety & depression issues but not the one secret she already knows, that as the boss of a notorious New Jersey mob family Tony is more into wasting people than the waste management his C.V. claims.
A powerful man, with an aura as significant as his substantial frame, Tony Soprano is a leader who commands respect as he walks into a room. The feared and respected mob boss is a guy who you do not cross without finding yourself a fully paid up member of the mobs own ‘witness protection scheme’.
His meteoric rise to the top of the family started as a youngster when Tony hijacked the card game of Michele “Feech” La Manna. Although never afraid to front up to anyone Tony is also a methodical leader who uses the works of Sun Tzu and ‘The Art Of War’ as a reference point before escalating incidents into full scale blood baths unnecessarily.
With two Families to look out for and all the problems associated with being a mob boss Tony is a walking time bomb waiting to go off.
